What to watch on Netflix, The Movies Guide

what-to-watch-on-netflix-the-movies-guide

On Tuesday I shared with you my favorite shows to stream on Netflix, and today I’ll be sharing with you my current movie favorites to stream on Netflix. I’m always in search of new content to watch on Netflix so hopefully these posts will help you the next time you lay on the couch and aren’t sure what to stream! I’ve done all of the hard work for you and linked the corresponding trailers below so you can quickly see if you think you’ll enjoy the movie!

what movies to watch on netflix

Twinsters: I don’t want to say too much about this documentary because I don’t want to give anything away. But, in short..two girls discover each other online and think that perhaps they are twins. They live in different parts of the world and the story unfolds once they talk for the first time!

Black Fish: I love any documentary that features sea life, particularly orcas. I find them to be the most stunning creatures in sea life and this documentary, though controversial, opens an important dialogue about places like Marine and SeaWorld.

Not Another Happy Ending: British romantic comedies are my favorite movies of all time. About Time, Love Rosie, and NAHE all have a very similar feel in that they don’t feel fake or cheesy. The setting is in Europe, the accents are Scottish, and the home the main character lives in is quintessantial European cottage! Super cute movie for a night in.

Love Actually: Again with the British movies..this one is a classic. I watch this one during the Holidays because it’s set during that time of year. It’s one of those movies with like 10 story lines that all intersect. It’s funny because I don’t usually like these types of movies, I prefer to watch a storyline unfold in it’s entirety rather than getting a small piece from each story. But, probably because it’s British, I love it.

The Best of Me: This was originally a novel by Nicholas Sparks, so you know what that means. Tears all around. But, I did really enjoy the storyline of this one and the actor is pretty easy on the eyes, so there’s that ;).

What are some of your favorite shows or movies on Netflix? As I mentioned, I’m always looking to add new ones to my list!!
